More thoughts, same week…

  • What if camera manufacturers in the near future offer picture styles to emulate popular photographers…I mean, instead of Landscape, Macro, Indoors etc., if cameras come with Ansel Adams, Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Weston, Henri Cartier-Bresson etc., as picture style options, one can simply use these to create image masterpieces…Imagine using a picture style of “Ansel Adams” to shoot the Yosemite…and the result is exactly like his original! Now, that would be a feat!
  • As an apprentice for a local popular NJ photographer for the past 2 years now, I have been fortunate to learn hands on and be guided through several aspects of photography. Especially when it comes to “seeing creatively” and “artistic” aspects. I simply don’t understand how and why budding photographers skip this part, and just go on to become a professional directly from school. It simply doesn’t make sense to me.
