The making of this website

Well, technically speaking — this post is not about Photography. This is a post on the making of this blog. I believe there are several photographers out there — who might benefit from knowing how i created this website.

Mac Disk Panic!

Well, this happens to everyone…mine happened yesterday night. The Main mac stopped working. It simply stopped booting up — got stuck at login window and the kernel crashed. I found that the disk itself is doing just fine. but somehow, the OS had gotten corrupted — either due to a bad Apple update, or some other

Lesson from “The American Idol”

Watching “The American Idol” today (Yes, i do sometimes watch this…) made me realize a valuable lesson that probably applies to Photography as well. Thoughts for the week…

Well, there is a lot of chatter on the D3x. A lot of uproar on several forums about the price point being unjust, while several fan boys (read post here for starters) are happy and gaga over it. I am very sure that the D3x is a very good camera — a very good competent one

The bubble…

Well, i have written several times before on how the progress technology is influencing the consumer involvement in Photography in general and the future trend. Based on the current progress — I think, we might soon (5–10 years) see the technology progress leaving behind the still photography for better things to come. Such as: E-Ink
